Buckle up, because the sky is finally letting it all out. Mercury squares both Mars and Pluto today, which means blunt truths and at least one conversation you’ll replay in the shower later. Try not to take everything personally, stargazer. By evening, Mars trines Neptune, softening all that heat into empathy and imagination. The Moon also slides into Cancer, putting everyone in the mood for cozy nights and familiar faces. Venus is inching toward Mercury, too, so kind words go a long way right now. Saturn keeps closing in on the Sun as well, testing our patience. Say your piece, then call a truce and enjoy the weekend with people who make you feel safe. Read your horoscope for the week , and see what the stars have in store for your sign today.  Aries: March 21 – April 19 Nobody messes with your people on your watch, and today someone might test that. Mercury squares Mars early, so you’ll be ready to throw hands the second a friend gets treated un...

Ye’s Beef With This Comedian Led to a Scathing Diss Track and Problematic Rants—Now He’s Justifying Ye’s Behavior: ‘That’ll Do It’

It’s been four years since Kanye “Ye” West’s beef with Pete Davidson popped off. Things got heated between the two former friends after the SNL alum started dating West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The relationship clearly set West off, leading to him online bullying Davidson and even releasing a diss track titled “ Eazy “. Subsequently, West went in pretty hard on some infamous antisemitic rhetoric , which leads us to Davidson’s new Variety interview. During the comprehensive conversation, Davidson was asked if he thought that being half-Jewish was part of why West went on the attack against him. “What people don’t understand about that dude,” he replied, “and I’m not one-one-millionth as talented or influential or powerful as that dude, but I have dealt with a fraction of what he’s had to deal with public-wise—is that’ll do it.” Kanye West depicted Pete Davidson being decapitated in his music video fo...

Here’s What Really Happened Between Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag on ‘The Hills’

Image
MTV’s The Hills was once an essential viewing, and fans tuned in to see Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad—whose friendship once defined the show—until a nasty rumor draws their relationship to a bitter end. Publicly, things remain awkward between them. The feud kicked off at the premiere of  The Hills  Season 3, when Conrad officially ended her long-standing friendship with Montag, suspecting that she and Spencer Pratt were spreading cruel rumors about Conrad and her ex-boyfriend. That episode created one of the most infamous moments of the series, when Conrad tells Montag, “You know what you did!” Prior to her finding out about the sex tape rumors, their relationship had already been rocky. Conrad moved out of their apartment and onto the next phase of her life. Not to mention she wasn’t the biggest fan of Pratt and Montag together. From that confrontation on, though, a bitter feud ensued, and the rift still hasn’t been patched up almost 20 years later. Nearl...

The 7 Gen Alpha Slang Terms Adults Are Googling Most in 2026

If you’re over the age of 30, you’ve probably become the adult who has to Google what the youngsters are saying. I know I’m definitely one of them.  Maybe your kid sends you something in English words but makes absolutely no sense. Maybe you hear a phrase on TikTok six times in one day and finally give in. Either way, congratulations. This is our life now. Recent search data shows people are doing exactly that. Unscramblerer analyzed Google searches through August 2026 to see which Gen Alpha slang terms people were looking up. Randoh Sallihal, a spokesperson for Unscramblerer, told Mental Floss that slang works as a “social signal,” giving people a way to participate in whatever their corner of the internet is doing. Some of these make sense. Kind of. Others will probably make you feel like a senior citizen. 1. Quiet on the Creek “Quiet on the creek” came from Saucy Santana talking about fishing as a kid and needing to keep the volume down so the fish wouldn’...

How to Slide Into Someone’s DMs Without Coming Off Creepy

Sliding into someone’s DMs is a bold move. You’re scrolling the feed, maybe you’re stalking a profile a little, and you have a direct line to their attention. Why not shoot your shot, right? The tricky part is that a DM skips the usual signs that somebody might actually want to hear from you. There’s no match confirming your attraction or interest. You’re just appearing in their inbox and hoping you don’t come off weird. Tons of people meet online now, and not always on dating apps. Pew Research Center has found that social platforms are part of that too. Instagram might not have been designed for dating, but people have been using it that way for years. Here’s how to avoid making things awkward. 1. Do Your Prep Work If a stranger sends you a DM, what’s the first thing you do? You look at their profile. They’re probably going to do the same thing to you, so it helps if there’s something there. A nearly empty account, an ancient profile photo, or five posts fr...

2026 MTV VMAs: Gener8ion and Yung Lean Smash a Moonman While Performing ‘Storm II’ Live With a Mesmerizing Dance Crew

Gener8ion and Yung Lean’s “ Storm II ” was a dark horse nominee for Video of the Year at the 2026 MTV VMAs . To mark the occasion, the duo performed the track live on stage for the first time. And they brought their mesmerizing dance crew with them. The performance was introduced by actor Brandon Sklenar and Survivor host Jeff Probst. Yung Lean recreated the aesthetic of the “Storm” music video by stomping through the backstage area. He was dressed in a prep school outfit. He walked over to a table and picked up a moonman, or moon person. Statue in hand, Lean hurried out onto the stage, paused in front of the MTV VMAs crowd, and then smashed it. Afterwards, he marched over to a riser full of prep schoolers and took his place in the middle as the chaotic and intrancing dance routine began.
